The Louis Armstrong House Museum has recently partnered with Queens College's graduate writing program -- three students getting their MFA in creative writing have spent hours pouring over the Museum Collections for inspiration. They have examined Louis's own writings, photos, artifacts, scrapbooks, and have listened to Louis's home-recorded audio tapes.
A reading, open to the public, will be held on
April 30, 2009

Writers Michael Alpiner, John Currie, and Tyler Rivenbark will be reading their new works created in response to the Museum Collections. The reading will be followed by a Q&A session and reception.
