Join us on October 9th at 1 PM for a special Listening Session!

This session celebrates the 90th anniversary of Louis Armstrong’s legendary association with Decca Records,  starting with his very first session on October 3, 1935 and spanning over two decades of groundbreaking recordings.

Hosted by Matthew ‘Fat Cat’ Rivera of The Hot Club of New York and WKCR, alongside Louis Armstrong House Museum’s own Ricky Riccardi, this session dives deep into Armstrong’s Decca years through rare 78s, test pressings, and deep cuts.

Expect the unexpected and bring your own 78s or LPs to share!
As always, seating is limited to keep the vibe intimate, so grab your spot early.

Come celebrate the Decca era, swap stories, spin some vinyl, and enjoy the music that helped define jazz history. Let’s make it a party Louis would’ve loved. 🎺
