Gabriel J. Marous

Gabriel J. Marous is the founder and managing partner of MAROUS LAW, a dynamic, internationally-oriented business and corporate boutique law firm based in New York City. With over 25 years of experience, Gabriel advises domestic and international clients ranging from entrepreneurs and executives to mid-size and multinational companies on business structuring, mergers and acquisitions, commercial transactions, and corporate governance.
In addition to practicing law, Gabriel is a well-established entrepreneur and business leader globally. With his most recent business venture, he is the founder and CEO of VA FOR PROFESSIONALS, an international company with offices in New York and the Philippines that provides highly skilled virtual assistants to professionals and businesses across North America. His entrepreneurial vision and global perspective reflect a deep understanding of finance, economic policy, and international business development.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Gabriel is an active member of the French-American Chamber of Commerce, the American Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association. He has also volunteered with the Financial Services Volunteer Corps and USAID, by contributing to international legislative projects and conducted seminars abroad on banking, corporate governance, and anti–money laundering compliance. A French native, he is also professionally proficient in Spanish and is currently learning Filipino (Tagalog). Gabriel brings a multicultural and cross-border lens to his law practice and business ventures.
Gabriel earned his LL.M. in U.S. Legal Studies from the Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in New York and a Master’s degree in Business Law and English-American Common Law from the Université de Cergy-Pontoise in France. He also studied Economic Sciences and completed his doctoral residency in International Economic Law at La Sorbonne, Université de Paris I, where his research focused on monetary integration and comparative central banking systems.
