A Ray of Roses: Lucille’s Legacy of Mentorship

Join us in celebrating the Armstrong-era matriarchs and multi-generational legacies of mentors, women leaders, mothers of the Corona and East Elmhurst neighborhood.

A special event of afternoon tea and matriarch-led dialogue with the Louis Armstrong House Museum, Sow Rhythm Seed Project, and Global Shapers Brooklyn. We honor the efforts of women who have shaped, preserved, and promised our futures.

This event will uplift the local histories of women, featuring voices from the Corona Collection: an oral history project, and celebrate those who continue to contribute to the community and beyond.
