Every February, in celebration of Black History Month, The Louis Armstrong House Museum invites visitors to delve into the extraordinary life and legacy of Louis Armstrong, a pivotal figure in the world of music and a notable influence in the civil rights movement. Throughout the month, we are proud to present an exclusive house tour focusing on Louis Armstrong and civil rights in America.

Tours run Thursday to Saturday throughout the month.

This special tour will not only highlight Armstrong’s musical genius and innovations in jazz but also shed light on his significant contributions and stance on civil rights issues. Visitors will gain a deeper understanding of how Armstrong’s artistry and activism intertwine, reflecting his profound impact on American culture and history.
