JULY 21 THROUGH JULY 25, 2025
9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

You are cordially invited to participate in the second annual Louis Armstrong Summer Teaching Institute. The Louis Armstrong Educational Foundation is partnering with the Queens College School of Education on a Summer Teaching Institute for secondary educators. This is a one-week institute held at the Louis Armstrong House Museum and Queens College (more information is in the flier). The institute is free of charge and will include a travel stipend and CTLE hours upon completion. We have a phenomenal line-up of world-class teaching artists and faculty who will help educators integrate the life and legacy of Louis Armstrong into English and History curriculum. This inspiring week of workshops aspires to contextualize Armstrong’s contributions firmly within historic and 21st Century constellations of artistic excellence, democratic values, cultural diplomacy, civil rights, and more.

Teachers can use this form to register.
