In celebration of the 40th anniversary of Urban Bush Women, we are honored to host “When Black Women+ Speak” at the Louis Armstrong House Museum Jazz Room. This event is an extension of Urban Bush Women’s CCI 2.0 program and gathers artistic leaders, producers, and partners to delve into the complexities of identity, community, values, and success among women+ of color. As Urban Bush Women continues their legacy of pushing cultural boundaries, this event highlights the voices and experiences of women+ who are at the forefront of social and artistic change.
