Armstrong Now! 2025 Cohort Announcement

Big news! The Louis Armstrong House Museum is proud to announce our 2025 Armstrong Now Artists-in-Residence: Irishia Hubbard Romain & Etienne Charles.

Irishia Hubbard Romaine, choreographer, filmmaker, educator, reimagines Black archival histories through movement and film.

Etienne Charles, trumpeter, percussionist, composer brings lush sound, Caribbean rhythms, and deep cultural storytelling to his work.

Both will spend time in the Armstrong Archives, creating new works that honor Pops’ legacy while speaking powerfully to our present. Performances premiere in 2025 right here at the Museum!
