Alexis Lubin

(She/Her)

Finance Director

Alexis has been with the Museum for six years. Prior to that, she spent 10 years managing the finance department of a performing arts institution in Corona, Queens. Alexis graduated from Hodges University with a M.B.A. in Business. She is a proud member of the NAEA.

In her spare time, Alexis enjoys movies, cooking and learning how to ride horses. She believes that challenges make life interesting, but overcoming those challenges makes life meaningful. Louis Armstrong said this best when he said:

“What we play is life. Seems to me it ain’t the world that’s so bad but what we’re doing to it, and all I’m saying is: see what a wonderful world it would be if only we’d give it a chance. Love, baby – love. That’s the secret”

Alexis is ardent about creating accurate financial reports for the organization and do so fervently to make sure that our funders and supporters see that every dollar donated to the organization is spent on programming that benefits the community and others around the world.
