Justice Arts Workshop with Phoenix House
The Louis Armstrong House Museum advanced its mission to transform lives through its intensive eight-week Justice Arts Workshops.
Now in its second year in partnership with Phoenix House and the Re-entry Theatre of Harlem, the program welcomed a new cohort of participants who engaged deeply with a diverse range of artistic practices: from spoken word and poetry to theater, collage, painting, and mask-making.
Each discipline was rooted in the transformative power of arts education and inspired by the enduring legacy and remarkable life of Louis Armstrong.
